There's a short sharp answer to all those questions and it's this, because they believe lies.
If they knew the truth they wouldn't let themselves be subjected to lies or naively believe unchecked beliefs they believe to be true, but would seek truth which would bring truth to them and in turn would show the lies for what they are, just lies.

Until a soul receives God's Divine Love they really are in a stupid state. I don 't mean than negatively about others but make this observation about their behavior. Colossal bits of information enter their brain constantly but there is no bench mark for truth to know what to think or believe. Most use the seats of the pants empiricle method to distill what is true or not or latch on to key popular beliefs and key into that. Without the soul's perception being brought to life through one's spiritual rebirth, it's difficult to move forward in one's spiritual development. Everyone's hawking their own version of truth when it has to be discovered one to one with God. That's why it's so important to seek the suffusion of our soul through God's Love to enable perceptions of truth. Otherwise it's the stupid state.

At first glance this sounds like a rather arrogant remark. So please permit me to say that I include myself in with those who live in a stupid state. That's why I pray for Divine Love as I recognize how my thoughts and behavior are counterproductive. As a representative of the human race I can rightly speak about the human condition that is shaped by our own thoughts and behavior and those influences outside ourself. Consequently we adopt the thinking of the masses and accept all it's brilliance and insanity. When earlier humankind accepted human sacrifice as normal and necessary as redemption for their sins and later interpolated Jesus as the Lamb of God and the ultimate sacrifice, one can see how far we have fallen from any kind of sensibility and humanity about ourselves. Or when our government and society embraces abortion as "civilized". What are we thinking, are we insanely stupid?

Sadly many are locked into this lost state of believing blindly in something that has no truth or efficacy in their life. This is the herd mentality that follows the group thinking. But there are far more insidious thoughts that take us down the rabbit hole and those that deal with how we see ourselves. I've never called a person stupid for their beliefs even if I disagree. But I see something that is common to many and that is self deprecation. That's why I say I'm guilty of being in that stupid state as I've battled this malady my entire life. I learned this as.a child and it's become my life's nemesis as it were.

Funny, I was sharing with Deb over coffee this morning that looking at my high school pictures I see a very handsome young man and yet I felt like an ugly duckling and Deb said she saw herself as ugly too. I dare say that low self esteem and self depravation is an epidemic around the world that plagues many individuals. This is why I've prayed for Divine Love for more than 40 years, to heal me of my false thoughts about myself. My Father's Love is helping me to overcome my past and is truly my redemption from such stupidity and insanity. It's my new way of seeing myself and the world in a whole new light. It's breaking down my false beliefs by giving me me a way of seeing and coming into a greater reality of truth and love. I still do really stupid things and blow it from time to time but to err is human. Since I have one foot on earth and the other in heaven, I don't expect perfection but I do expect Divine Love to maximize in my life and to transform that which is disharmonious to itself. God's Divine Love will deliver me.

Your loving friend,
Dan

Dan,
I would like to step in here and say that I completely understand what you are saying. So many years the dogmas of religion have been pounded into mankind to place fear in the masses, and yet they continue to get away with it. All the errors in the scriptures, contradictions, made up religions and all for what? To condemn mankind before we even get started. I'm surprised how many people are screwed up because of religion. I learned early on that something wasn't making sense to me and I started questioning religion. Some things I agreed with as I found comfort but many were to difficult to understand. Blood sacrifice, why would God send his only son to be nailed to a cross and murdered, or Mary being a virgin and being impregnated by God so he could be born? Isn't that fallacy one of the big religions mistakes? I and my father are one so Jesus is God born in the flesh. Who's minding the store while God is Jesus? Anyway I could go on and on with this stuff. So yes Dan I think you said it, without God's Divine Love the soul is in a stupid state, ignorant to the truth.

I pray daily to be a better person and receive more of God's Divine Love in my soul, many times at the end of the day when I reflect I feel I could have been better today. I'll try harder tomorrow, we are still growing.

After a good deal of research into what is happening in this world, I came to the conclusion many years ago that there are some people in this world who are doing everything in their deceptive power to lead people away from God, and it's not just the known religions, sects and cults either, whether they are just mistaken or devised deceptive religions that are meant to lead people away from God and the truth, but also philosophical belief systems that guide mankind which could, or maybe even should be considered as religions but are never labelled as such, like the religion of science, the religion of the atheism, the, I don't care except for myself religion, the wait until I die religion, the political religion, the worship of a certain person religion, the revenge religion, the religion of money and the accumulation of material things, and the list of these religions is endless because religion on earth is merely, what you believe, that is your religion. So it becomes apparent that the saying, "where your treasure is, so will be your heart also" is in fact, true.

When we are left to ourselves in unbiased thought and seek the truth with our soul, we are able to see that there must be an all loving perfect God and we are God's children each and every one of us, those who do not see an all loving God because they believe that if there was a God, this God would have prevented evil from ever happening, do not know about the great gift God has given us, which is the gift of free will, and this gift can either defile the soul, when it is misused, or transform it from it's created image to a real and eternal soul as God intended for all of us when used for it's true purpose.

There are allegedly 4200 religions in the world today as there are roughly 60 percent of the world's population that claims it is religious and 40 percent that is not. Of those that are not, atheists make up about 15 percent. Accordingly there has been a 9 percent drop in those who claim to be religious since 2005.

I thought that the decline in those who are religious and believe in God is significant. Like you said Ian, there are some whose agenda is to break down people's faith in God, the family and our morals and values. Christianity refers to this as the work of Satan or the Devil. Regardless of folk's beliefs about an Anti-Christ, there is a war between good and evil being waged on earth.

This confuses me sometimes because the Celestial Angels wrote about the Law of Eventual Harmony on earth where man would progress back to the original state of the first parents, called the Adamic state. If this were true where is the evidence of such spiritual development today? We see a break down in the youth of today who have little ability to show empathy and whose morality is on a downward spiral. Governments abuse human rights and are morphing into an all world Socialist Government. Cultural traditions such as saying the prayer in school and speaking of God in public is being challenged and laws are passed to make it illegal.

From my vantage point, I see a degeneration in the world today that is counterproductive to morality, religion and our right to free assembly and free speech to speak about and worship God. If there is to be an eventual harmony in this world, it is a long ways off ( millions of years) and a spiritual reformation needs to turn the tide. The way I see it, the earth is a springboard to the spirit world where redemption and harmony will be finally realized. As it has been said, the earth is a plane of probation for humans and the choices they make here may affect their eventual destiny with God. I see the spirit world as being the greater battleground of the soul as it works out it's salvation. As for the earth, I see little hope for eventual harmony here as there is little evidence to me. Obviously these are my opinions.

Your loving brother,
Dan
